BP: PAD have an accreditation scheme? A pro-Thaksin group did something similar to ThaiPBS in Chiang Mai last month although there is no report that this group was armed in anyway. PAD have armed guards and have attacked and assaulted the media on numerous occasions. Will they take over Channel 3 like they did NBT?

btw, Reung Low Chow Nee is part of the Sorayuth Suthasanajinda (don't confuse him with Surayud) media empire. When Gen. Anupong and the Army Commanders wanted to make their statement to the media they went on his evening program to do so. I would say he is probably one of the most influential journalists in the country - he is easily the most popular (I think he is likely the richest too).* He has a morning and an evening show Mon-Fri and also a mid-morning show on the weekends on Channel 3. He also does a weekly interview show on Monday night where anyone who is anyone in the political world wants to appear. He ain't no Paxman or Russert and he is a fairly soft-ball interviewer yet I think he does better job than most on eliciting information from those he interviews. 

*by rich, I mean he has actual money in the bank and is not just paper rich with massive debts like a certain media operative
