... the Bangkok Post reports:

He [Korbsak Sabhavasu] would replace Niphon Phromphan who resigned from the position in early October last year for reasons that remain unclear.

BP: Is the reason he resigned really that unclear? If you are uncertain, see these posts here, here, here, and here. It has something to do with a mighty and powerful backer in Germany.  The writer on this piece knows why, but the reason they don't say is that to speak the truth may result in more than a few nights in the Bangokok Hilton or well somewhere even worse....
