The curious case of Sheikh Haron

A man claiming to be a former Iranian muslim cleric and going by the moniker Sheikh Haron has been arrested for allegedly taunting the relatives of dead Australian soldiers.

The man first came to public notice a couple of years ago. We can only guess that intelligence officers might have finally decided that there was no intelligence worth gathering from him, otherwise you would have to wonder why this arrest took so long.

Meanwhile, a quick scan of the Internet reveals he still has some very odd material up on YouTube, and there is some scepticism in the Muslim community about his bona fides.
