Engineering is still the most coveted degree in India. Especially if it is from IIT’s. IIT’s still rule the roost in India. There are only a few of them and getting into them is tough as hell. I tried my luck but you can tell the IIT’s from the non-IIT’s just by the looks.
I am not that type. I got into private engineering college and unfortunately that college does not feature in the list below.
Outlook has published this list back in 2007. That does not mean that this list is not relevant. I don’t expect much to change from the list below. In most places on the Internet the list is published with the rankings and other information. But, no links to the college you are interested in.
The list is prepared based on 5 parameters :
- Intellectual Capital
- Infrastructure and facilities
- Pedagogic systems
- Industry Interface
- Placement
The list is available with the scores for each of the 5 parameters above. I chose to eliminate them and simplified it. I present you this list which is complete with the rankings and the urls. Gathering the urls took a lot of time and effort. I hope this list will be useful to you.
PS : Care has been taken about the urls of the respective websites. However, there might be discrepancies that might have crept. Please let us know about them using the comments below.
