KingFisher’s mobile ticketing solution King Mobile – Only on ngPay

Yes the King of good times is back and this time on mobile. King Fisher the airliner of the flamboyant Vijay Mallya is now on mobile.

Consumers can book King Fisher tickets on mobile. This service is available only on ngpay, which is the mobile platform for many services. Ngpay comes from ngpay_logo JiGrahak Mobility Solutions (P) Ltd.

Booking air tickets will be no different from booking train tickets. This is something – as per me – most of us has used. If you haven’t I would urge to give it a try. At least for the train tickets. I have tried it and it really works.

Not much of innovation or a selling point for King Fisher here as whoever decides to buy a ticket will buy it either online or offline. King Fisher has provided yet another option through mobile. In fact this could be the most used option in the near feature.

Kingfisher

The biggest gainer here is ngpay. This is the only mobile application, which I like. I tried several and use several applications for various purposes.

Snaptu, Gmail, IRCTC and ICICI’s iMobile are the few applications, which I have used on my Samsung SGH-J150. Most of the things suck. Snaptu takes a while to load and of late it gives me an error and doesn’t open up.

IRCTC and iMobile did not even work. Gmail tries its best but most of the time it would be Gfail. But ngPay has stood the burn tests I have conducted. It really saved my days in needy times.

The services it offers are really impressive. It has IRCTC, Redbus and now King Fisher, which takes care of my travel, needs. It has 2 famous multiplexes in Bangalore, which is more than enough for my entertainment needs. It also has Ranga Shankara theater tickets and other good stuff.

These are just the services, which I use. But, there are many others for shopping etc..

What started as a King Fisher post turned out to be an ngpay post. But it is worth it. King Fisher is getting tech savvy when compared with its peers in aviation or India Inc in general. First it started its twitter account and started sending tweets. Now, it is on mobile.

Will these new initiatives help Kingfisher overcome the turbulence it is seeing and stop the cheque bouncing?

PS: To download the ngpay application SMS KingMobile to 56388.
