Is it a camera, is it a phone, is it a camcorder or is it a gaming device? That seems to be the question of every Smartphone that is being introduced every other day. Nokia N86 priced at Rs. 27, 359 seems to be that kind of phone.

If you want to specialize in video taking and editing then you wouldn’t go for a Nokia N86 but for regular pictures and videos it fits the bill.
Let us look at the specs in the order of my preference :
Samsung Innov8 is the other 8 megapixel phone which was launched in India. The cost of that phone when it was launched is Rs. 46000. Nokia N86 is priced at almost half of Innov8’s price. Yet I find N86 expensive. May be not as expensive as the other 30k+ phones being offered. No touch screen is the only short coming of N86. That of course depends on if you are a big fan of touch screen or not. How does it compete with Nokia’s own phones and other phones like iPhone 3G S is to be seen.
