As per a recent survey Engineering graduates still prefer Information Technology over many other fields irrespective of their specialization. And I hope the new batch which will start in 2009 will change that.
When they pass out in 2013 there will be a different ecosystem to look at and Information Technology would just be one piece of it. In that way they don’t have to restrict themselves to just IT. Even better they can come up with a totally new field.
