What is snarling up Streamyx?

Quality of Service for TM Net Streamyx has been very patchy since October 18, and judging from the hordes of emails I received, and the ocassions I highlighted here and here, the problem is widespread geographically and yet, to date, unresolved.

Insiders have pointed out that TM Wholesale, which handles the infrastructure and backhaul of the ISP's network, is the main culprit. I was also informed that procurement of equipments in the short history of TM net broadband has been haphazard -- they are 14 types of D-Slam procured in different phases that don't interface properly!

If this is true, we need TM to order an independent technical audit, and haul in the TM Wholesale CEO, and his immediate boss, to be made accountable.

There's even a letter to the Malaysiakini editor on this. The same complainant has dispatched a protest email to industry regulator, the MCMC, with a cc to Screenshots and all mainstream media

I believe the Communications and Multimedia Consumer Forum is not sitting on its butt.
