Twitter has been growing at a steady rate in Thailand. Although no official figures are produced, business intelligence firm Sysomos’s recent global ranking list placed Thailand as the seventh biggest Twitterer in Asia, putting it 25th in the world. These stats are just the half of it, three months later the country’s Twitter usage continues to grow, making it increasingly likely Thailand will be placed higher come the next report. The continued growth is making it increasingly difficult to keep up with all the conversations on Twitter in Thailand, such is the noise. One way is through Twitter’s List feature, launched back in September 2009 as “a better way to organize information on Twitter”. I speculatively started this Thailand list back in November, with a little TLC it has grown to cover nearly 100 English-language Twitter users across Thailand.
